The other planets represent the tools we use and our transpersonal self. The ‘condition’ of these three planets and where they are positioned can tell us a great deal about ourselves. The three ‘Red coloured’ planets indicate our ego personality: the Sun shows our Mental self, the Moon shows our Feeling, or Emotional self, and Saturn shows our Physical self. It is a traditional 360 degree chart wheel, using the Koch Houses. The planets representing our psychological drives, can be positioned anywhere around the chart and show in what area of life we focus our attention. This is full color graphic that you can print out on any color printer. The lines show the connections between the planets and indicate how the energy of our psychological drives (the planets) are ‘coloured’, or modified. The aspects form a unique pattern for every individual and show our unconscious motivations. This central core symbolises our higher or spiritual self.
No aspect lines are drawn through this central circle as it represents the Self that is uninfluenced by worldly concerns. Placidus and Koch are quite similar since they're both quadrant systems (so only the minor cusps differ between them), they're both 'time-based' as opposed to 'space-based', and they both aren't easily defined above the Arctic Circle (so some other house system other than Placidus or Koch has to be used for polar charts).
